The Ad-Hoc Meeting of the Ministers in charge of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of the Organization of Turkic States will be convened on 26 May 2022 in Baku.
Hosted by H.E. Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and moderated by H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the OTS, the Meeting will be attended by the Ministers in charge of ICT of the Member and Observer States of the OTS.
Coinciding with the “TEKNOFEST “Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival, the Ministerial meeting will be kicked off with “Take Off Baku” Startup Summit and Opening Ceremony of “TEKNOFEST”. The Ministers, the high level government officials and experts attending the meeting will have TEKNOFEST VIP tour and visit various pavilions of the event.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Ministers will hold discussions on the following agenda items; existing cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies under the sub-working groups namely;
- Development of Digital Infrastructure, -E-Government, -Cyber Security; cooperation in implementation of joint projects development of ICT infrastructure; considering the drafting of the “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of ICT among the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS)”; developing a “Common Mobile Device Registration System” among the OTS Member States; the project on preparation of “Digital Innovation Catalogue of the OTS”. In continuation of the meeting a Joint Presentation by the ICT experts from Azerbaijan and Turkey will take place.
