H.E. Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Askhat Aimagambetov, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan; H.E. Bolotbek Kupeshov, Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic; H.E. Temirjon Kamilov, Deputy Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Prof. Dr Erol Özvar, President of Council of Higher Education of the Republic Turkey; László Keller, General Consul of Hungary to İstanbul, Prof.Dr. Darkhan Kydrali, President of the Turkic Academy and Prof. Dr. Muhittin Şimşek, Chairman of Board of Trustees of Ahmed Yassawi University will attend the Ministerial Meeting.
Under the moderation of Secretary General, the Meeting will start with the opening remarks and speeches of the Ministers, which will be followed by a summary brief of the outcomes of the Senior Officials of the Ministries of Education meeting by Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman.
On continuation of the meeting general discussions will take place among the Ministers on the following agenda items; Activities in the framework of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union (TÜRKÜNİB); Third Student Exchange Programmes among secondary/high schools; Educational exchange program (capacity building training) for education professionals of Member States of the Turkic Council; Sister School Relations among the Secondary/High Schools of the Member States; and Issues related to the Turkic Academy.
At the end of the meeting, there will be a Signing Ceremony of Regulation on the Orkhun Exchange Program of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union and draft amended Article 10 of the “Directive on the Establishment of the Turkic University Union and Higher Education Area”.
