Opening ceremony of 2016 - the Year of Haydar Aliyev" and the presentation meeting of the "Turkic World Urban Development Congress" organized by the Association of Engineers and Architects of Turkic World was held on 18 March 2016 in Ankara at the premises of TÜRKSOY.
Minister of Environment and Urban Development Ms. Fatma Güldemet Sarı, Chief Advisor of the President Mr. Yalçın Topçu, President of Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Ms. Günay Efendiyeva as well as representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ankara and representatives of NGOs were present at the meeting.
Project Director Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek represented the Turkic Council Secretariat during the meeting.
