217/218 sessions of the Permanent Technical Committee (PTC) has started its session on 17 October 2017 at the Headquarters of WCO. The session was opened by opening speech of Ms. Ana Hinojosa, Director of the Compliance and Facilitation, WCO.
Following the opening session the reports on Information Management Sub-committee, Policy Commission, 129/130 Sessions of Council and other relevant reports were discussed and certain updates were made to the delegations in this regards. The session will continue with issues like future of customs, e-commerce, customs - post cooperation, cooperation with railways, customs - Tax cooperation, Special Customs Zones, integrated Supply Chain Management and etc.
Project Director of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli is participating at the said meeting.
