Project Director of the Turkic Council Ferid Demirli participated in the Consultation meeting on the proposal of the International Turkic Language day, organized by the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO on 9 March 2018 in Ankara.
International Turkic Organizations, National Commissions for UNESCO of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan also participated at the said Meeting. Delegations discussed the days of proclaiming International Turkic Language day and presented their views on the subject matter. It was agreed that the last decision will be made upon consultations with the Capitals of the Member States.
