Project Director of the Turkic Council Mr. Assan Mazhitov has participated on behalf of the Turkic Council to the Gala Concert of TURKSOY dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan celebrating 3 October the Turkic Cooperation Day that was held in Ankara on 3 October 2016.

The Organization of Turkic States was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization. Its primary objective is to foster comprehensive cooperation among Turkic States.
