Pelin Musabay Baki, Project Director of the Turkic Council participated on 26 June 2017 in Astana at the sessions of the World Conference on Tourism and Future Energy: Unlocking low-carbon growth opportunities organized by the Astana EXPO 2017 and UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) as a part of the celebrations of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017.
During the sessions, the discussions concentreted on the energy efficiency, connectivity and sustainable tourism. The speakers of the sessions underlined the importance to ensure the sustainibility in tourism by using energy in an effective way.
On this occasion, Project Director Baki had contacts with the UNWTO experts and officials from the global tourism sector.
Deputy Financial Manager Araz Salmanov was also present at the sessions.
