Within the scope of the 10th Anniversary celebration program of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which is the founding agreement of the Turkic Council, a conference was organized by Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, a member of Turkic Universities Union on 10 October 2019.

The conference was attended by the Rector of the University Dr. Gülçöhre Memmedova, faculty members, academicians and the students.
Project Director Yıldız Uzakova, who participated as speaker at the conference, gave information about the structure, aims and objectives of the Turkic Council as well as the its ongoing activities and projects.
Ms. Uzakova also provided information on the activities carried out by the Secretariat in the field of education, especially the Orkhun Exchange Program, Turkic Universities Union Sports Games, Student Council and Culture and Arts Festival, as well information about concrete projects developed in cooperation with the members of the Turkic Universities Union.
Rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Dr. Gülçöhre Memmedova wished success to the Secretariat in its efforts to increase cooperation between the Member States of the Turkic Council and expressed their readiness to support the Turkic Council in its all efforts.
