Project Director of the Turkic Council, Yıldız Uzakova participated in the conference entitled ‘ 10th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement ’.
Within the framework of the activities devoted to the 10th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement, an international conference entitled  10th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement was organized by the National Assembly of Azerbaijan in cooperation with TURKPA on 10 October 2019 in Baku.

Moderated by the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ziyafet Askerov, the conference was attended by the National Assembly MPs, TURKPA Secretary General Mr. Altinbek Mamayusupov, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Ms. Günay Afandiyeva and representatives of many international institutions.

During the opening speeches, the representatives conveyed congratulatory messages regarding the 10th anniversary of the Turkic Council. Emphasizing the historical importance of Uzbekistan’s membership to the Turkic Council, the speakers stressed that this accession will accelerate the existing relations among the member states. The participants also expressed satisfaction with the Turkic Council's European office, which was inaugurated in Hungary last September.

Ms. Yıldız Uzakova, Turkic Council Project Director, who attended the meeting representing the Turkic Council, made a speech at the opening plenary.
