Project Director of the Turkic Council Zamin Aliyev participated at the Crans Montana Forum on Central to Far-Eastern Europe held on 29 June 29 – 1 July 2016 in Vienna, Austria.
 
On the first day, Project Director Aliyev attended a panel entitled “Sport, Governance and Ethics”. Ethics and sport values at glance of sport integrity; public authorities and sport movements; accountability and articulation in addressing sport integrity and governance; institutional approach of sport integrity and governance and the necessary transparency of all sport related bodies were among the topics of the discussions.
 
Aliyev took the floor at the panel and briefed the participants on the activities of the Turkic Council, especially the projects of the organization in the field of sport including Second World Nomad Games to be held in September 2016 in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan. The Project Director also proposed to add an article to the final document of the Forum which denounces the terror attack happened at Istanbul Ataturk Airport on 28 June 2016.
 
On 30 June, Project Director Aliyev took part in the official opening session of the second day, after which he attended the panels entitled “A New Continent is Emerging” and “Towards New Energy Concepts: Industrial and Economic Development Require a New Vision and Modernized Policies”. The Central and Eastern European States and their associated neighbors as a new World Power; the 21st century’s economic alternative bridging the East and the West and cooperation based on mutual respect and confidence were the topics of the first session, while the topics of the second session included improving and coordinating the management of natural resources; energy transportation corridors and priority to environmental concerns.
