Project Director Zhyldyz Uzakova participated in the `Turkic States at the 25th Year of Independence Symposium` organized by the Ahmet Yesevi University.
On behalf of the Turkic Council, Project Director Zhyldyz Uzakova participated in the “Turkic States at the 25th Year of Independence Symposium” organized by the Ahmet Yesevi University on 7 October 2016.
Topics such as the non-governmental organizations studying the Turkic World and their contributions, gains of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan over the quarter-century period of independence, bilateral relations among the Turkic States, as well as discussions in the fields like history, culture, literature, education, media, identity, foreign policy, security, energy and transit policies took place at the sessions of the forum.
A number of scholars took part in the event and made presentations about organizations they represent and areas of their interest.
