Pelin Musabay Baki and Yedil Myrzakhanov, Project Directors of the Turkic Council, attended the panel entitled “Social Silk Road: The rise of experiential travel and the booking revolution” organized on 4 November 2015 in London in the framework of 9th United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) & World Tourism Market Ministers’ Summit.
In the interactive panel, taking the floor, they touched upon the projects of the Turkic Council, including the Turkic Council-Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package, with regard to the revival of the Silk Road as an attractive tourism destination.
After the panel, Project Directors had a bilateral meeting with UNWTO officials to discuss the modalities of future projects to be co-organized in the near future.
Project Directors Musabay Baki and Myrzakhanov are accompanying Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, in his official visit to London on 2-5 November 2015, to participate in the above mentioned Summit.
