Project Directors of the Turkic Council, Pelin Musabay Baki, Zamin Aliyev and Yedil Myrzakhanov participated in the Regional Launch of UNDP`s 2015 Human Development Report organized by UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS (UNDP RBEC) and hosted by Boğaziçi University on 15 December 2015 in Istanbul.
Prof. Gülay Barbarosoğlu, Rector of Boğaziçi University, Ms. Cihan Sultanoğlu, Assistant Secretary General of UN, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC), H.E. Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Development of the Republic of Turkey were the keynote speakers of the opening session of the said event that was proceeded with the panel discussions.
The Turkic Council attributes utmost importance to further its existing relations with UNDP through signing a MoU between the two organizations in the near future.
