Turkic Council delegation, headed by Deputy Secretary General Gismat Gozalov, attended the Meeting of the Heads of Customs AdministrationsDirector of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Zhenisbek Zhumanbekov and Deputy Executive Director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kanat Tumysh, together with the delegation, paid a visit to Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) Halil Akinci.

 

During the meeting, Parties discussed a number of important regional issues, icluding comprehensive fight against terrorism, and exchanged their views on the future of cooperation between three organizations. Afterwards, Deputy Executive Director of CICA Kanat Tumysh presented the “Twenty years to the initiative of convening the Conference on Interation and Confidence Building Measures in Asia” commemorative medals to Secretary General of Turkic Council Halil Akinci and Deputy Secretary General Darkhan Kydyrali for their oustanding service and valuable contributions to the strengthening and development of the CICA process.
