The second round of discussion on the draft “Partnership Agreement on Digital Economy between the Governments of the Member States  of Organization of Turkic States (OTS)” was organized by the OTS Secretariat on 21 June 2023 in online format.

Referring to instructions of the Heads of State at the Samarkand Summit of the OTS held on 11 November 2022 to create a favorable and attractive environment for expanding intra-trade relations in the Turkic region, the Secretariat launched negotiations on abovementioned Agreement prepared by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye.

Agreement will promote to economic growth, innovation, and the development of a thriving digital economy, aims to facilitate and strengthen trade relations between the Parties through electronic commerce and is expected to be signed during the upcoming 10th Summit of OTS in Turkestan in 2023.
