OTS Secretary General H.E.Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony of the International Conference on “Study and Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World from the Perspective of UNESCO” held on 14 March, 2024 in Baku.
Secretary General noted the importance of preserving and promoting historical cultural heritage of the Turkic World and called upon the Turkic Cooperation Organizations to enhance cooperation with UNESCO, ICESCO and other relevant international organizations in this field.
In his speech, he also touched upon the tasks, mainly related to the formation of the Common Turkic Cultural Heritage List.
As a result of the Conference a final Declaration was adopted.
