Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov held a bilateral meeting with the WCO Secretary General Mr. Kunio Mikuriya on the sidelines of the 3rd Global Conference on AEO in Mexico on 11 May 2016.
During the meeting Ambassador Hasanov briefed on the recent efforts of the Turkic Council to enhance cooperation with the international organizations and proposed his counterpart co-organizing regional and international events during 2016 with a view to implementing the MoU signed by the two sides last year. It was agreed to continue to work on the details of prospective events at the experts` level. Both sides expressed their appreciation for expanding cooperation between the two organizations.
Project Director Mr. Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek and Chief or Protocol Mr. Emre Yurdakul accompanied Ambassador Hasanov during the meeting.
