Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with Mr. Bakytzhan Sagintayev, First Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 29 February 2016.
During the meeting the Secretary General Hasanov shared information with Mr. Sagintayev regarding the current activities of the Turkic Council, particularly in the transport and customs cooperation among the Member States of the Turkic Council. Secretary General Hasanov informed that in order to support Kazakhstan initiative to hold EXPO 2017 there is a possibility to organize joint events in the framework of the Turkic Council and the idea was welcomed by the First Deputy Prime-Minister.
Secretary General Hasanov presented a gift to Mr. Sagintayev at the end of the meeting.
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly, Project Director Yedil Myrzakhanov and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied to the Secretary General during the meeting.
