In the framework of observation mission of Turkic Council, the Secretary General Ramil Hasanov met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on 26 June 2017 in Astana.
During the meeting the Secretary General Hasanov, in the light of EXPO 2017 which is going on in Astana, informed the Chairman of Senate about the activities and projects of the Turkic Council, particularly in the field of Information and communication technologies, alternative energy, tourism and other projects.
H.E. Tokayev thanked the Secretary General Hasanov for his active contribution to the development of cooperation among the member states and informed that the Parliament of Kazakhstan always supports all activities of Turkic Council.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Project Director Yedil Myrzakhanov accompanied the Secretary General to this meeting.
