Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov participated at the “EU – Central Asia Business Forum” on the topic of “Economic cooperation opportunities between Europe and Central Asia” on 5 June 2015 in Jurmala, Latvia.
Secretary General Hasanov gave a speech at the Forum. During the speech Secretary General briefly introduced Turkic Council and its activities and principles, the role of the Turkic Business Council, meetings of the Council, Business Forums of the Turkic Council and invited the business community to participate at the next Business Forum to be held on September 2015 in Kyrgyzstan.
The Business Forum continued by the statements of the officials of the Latvian Government and European Parliament following officials of the Chambers of Industry and Trade of the Central Asian states presented the economies of their countries.
Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov presented silver plates of the Turkic Council to the President of EUROCHAMBERS Mr. Richard Weber and President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Aigars Rostovskis.
