The OTS Secretary General H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in the Conference entitled “International Transport and Logistics Corridors: Development Impulses from Zangilan” being organized on 16-17 November 2023 in Zangilan and Baku, Azerbaijan.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Conference, the Secretary General stressed the importance of such events in achieving key objectives, including the enhancement of competitiveness of transport corridors in the Turkic region, the establishment of favourable tariffs for businesses, and the development of modern transportation infrastructure.

Attending the High-level Panel on Establishing Transit Corridors: Tapping into the Potential of Eurasia, with the participation of the Transport Ministers and high-level authorities from the Member and Observer States, Secretary General Omuraliev engaged in discussions on  the liberalization of the Member States' transport sectors, including transit passes, the accelerating transport operations with minimum logistical costs, and eradicating non-physical barriers to efficient, stable, fast transport across Middle Corridor.
