Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev held a meeting with Chairman of State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov on 25 March 2022 in Tashkent.
During the meeting, B. Amreyev and A Mavlonov discussed the promotion of customs and transit facilitation focused on simplifying customs procedures and improving customs clearance efficiency in the OTS member countries.
Parties exchanged views on further steps to be taken to reveal the real potential of regional cooperation in customs spheres through various experience sharing programs, field trips in the framework of the Caravanserai Project, and projects aimed at digitalization of customs and transit procedures.
