Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with the Head of President's Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Sardor Umurzakov on 28 October 2022 in Tashkent.
Secretary General and Head of President's Administration exchanged views on the agenda and preparatory issues of the upcoming OTS Summit to be held in November 2022 in Samarkand, and series of events scheduled to convene on the eve of the Summit.
B. Amreyev and S. Umurzakov put special emphasis on the practical enrichment of the Summit's agenda with the activities and documents aimed at advancing cooperation in various sectors, especially trade and economy, transport and customs, investments, and tourism, as well as public diplomacy.
Parties also exchanged views on the short and long-term goals and perspectives of the Turkic World in numerous areas, including trade and economy, during the upcoming chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the OTS.
