The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev held a meeting with the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Asset Irgaliyev during his visit to Nur-Sultan on 3rd September 2021.

The Secretary General and the Minister exchanged views on the current economic cooperation opportunities and developments regarding the trade and investment relations within the Turkic Council region.

Parties discussed the agenda of the upcoming 10th Meeting Ministers in charge of Economy of the Turkic Council scheduled to take place on 10th September 2021 in Baku, as well as the program of Turkic Business Forum to be organized within the framework of this Ministerial meeting. 

B. Amreyev and A. Irgaliev stressed the need in establishing financial mechanisms, strengthening the legal bases of increasing the trade and investments as well as supporting the SME’s of Member States.
