Secretary General met with the President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev.
On 6th May 2019, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev met with the President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev.
During the meeting, the Secretary General emphasized the need to develop the economic potential of Turkic Council Member States. He informed about works of Secretariat on the establishment of Joint Investment Fund of Turkic Council, which will render as an effective instrument for encouraging economic and trade cooperation among the Member States, especially focusing on Small-Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs).
In mentioning the ongoing establishment of Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkic Speaking Countries, B.Amreyev extended his appreciation to the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan for their active role in supporting the establishment of above-mentioned Chamber and invited the President of Confederation to the signing ceremony of the Statute of the Joint Chamber of Commerce that is planned to conclude during the Astana Economic Forum to be held on 16-17 May, 2019.
President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations, Mammad Musayev expressed its satisfaction for the above-mentioned initiatives and efforts of Turkic Council Secretariat on boosting business relations among the Member States. He also stated the readiness of the National Confederation to continue fruitful cooperation related to the development of B2B relations.
Parties also exchanged views over the perspectives of future cooperation among related business communities of the Members States and pledged to work toward organizing joint events.
Deputy Secretary General Gismat Gozalov and Project Director Farrukh Jumayev accompanied the Secretary General Amreyev at the meetings.
