Invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, the Secretary General Mr. Ramil Hasanov participated in the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process Fourth Ministerial Conference on 31 October 2014 in Beijing as the guest of the host country. Taking his place in the family photo, Secretary General Mr. Hasanov took the floor at the session devoted to the international organizations and stated that in addition to the existing contributions of the Member States, the Turkic Council will always be beside Afghanistan and Afghan people. In this context he underlined the willingness of the Turkic Council to be part of the Istanbul Process as the supporting international organization, with its concrete and result oriented projects. The Secretary General was accompanied by Project Director Mrs. Pelin Musabay and Director of Protocol Mr. Emre Yurdakul at the conference. 

During and following the Conference, the Secretary General had a series of bilateral meetings and talks with the representatives of other international organizations as well as Ministers attending to the Conference.
