The event was hosted by Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov and attended by Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Youth Affairs, Science, Education, Health and Sports Abdujabbor Abduvahidov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, Organization of Turkic States delegation and representatives of public and private sector from Member States and other countries.
In his video address, Secretary General Amreyev underlined that during the last 8th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States dedicated to the theme "Green Technologies and Smart Cities in the Digital age" held on 12 November 2021 in Istanbul, almost all Leaders of the Turkic States emphasized the impact of the new technologies to the socio-economic development and invited to active collaboration for the development of innovations, smart and digital solutions, green technologies among the Member States, through establishing joint platforms and exchange of experiences and best practices, as well as developing joint projects.
Secretary General expressed that “InnoWeek.Uz -2021" is essential for the paving a way for the debate on realization of the tasks and targets raised by the Heads of State, as well as exchange of experiences that broaden perceptions of the present and encourage to create new pathways to technology and digital transformation.
