Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev met with the Director of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye H.E. Prof Dr Fahrettin Altun on 13 April 2022 in Ankara, Türkiye.
Secretary General and Director of Communications of Presidency discussed the recent developments of the media cooperation between the Turkic States and the preparations for the 4th Meeting of the Ministers of Information and Media of the OTS that will be convened in Istanbul, Türkiye on 13-15 May 2022.
Parties also exchanged views on such topics as the role of media in the globalization era, the challenges in the shared information space of OTS as well as the importance of establishing a mechanism for coordination of the joint activities to ensure information security among the Member States.
