Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev met with the President of Religious Affairs of Türkiye H.E. Ali Erbaş on 12 April 2022 in Ankara, Türkiye.
H.E. Amreyev and H.E. Erbaş discussed the main topics of prospective cooperation among the Religious Institutions of the Turkic States.
Parties further exchanged views on the pressing issues such as the fight against Islamophobia, protection of the young generation from the scourge of extremism, and the preservation of the Turkic-Islamic spiritual traditions.
