Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Baghdad Amreyev attended the Handover Ceremony for the New Secretary General of TURKSOY in Ankara, Türkiye on 12 April 2022.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Culture and Tourism H.E.  Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Ambassadors of the Turkic States to Ankara attended the Handover Ceremony. 

During the ceremony H.E. Dusen Kaseinov has officially handed over the post of Secretary General of TURKSOY to H.E. Sultabai Raev, who has previously served as the Deputy Secretary General of OTS.

During his speech, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev thanked H.E. Kaseinov for his exemplary service to the unity and integration of the Turkic World and turning TURKSOY a world brand. 

Describing H.E. Raev as a “true man of culture” and an experienced statesman, the Secretary General restated the full support and backing of OTS in this new chapter of TURKSOY. Furthermore, he congratulated and wished success to H.E. Raev in his new position.
