Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on his election as the President of Turkmenistan in the recent elections held on 12 March 2022 and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, and unity of the brotherly people of Turkmenistan.

The letter of the Secretary General is given here below.

“Your Excellency,

I am very pleased to receive the news of your convincing victory in the Presidential election of Turkmenistan.

I would like to sincerely congratulate you, as the newly elected President of the brotherly Turkmenistan. It is my strong conviction that Your Excellency will succeed in the fulfillment of this honored mission with integrity and dignity. 

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the successful conduct of the early presidential election, which is destined to be a crucial landmark for furthering the prosperity of the brotherly people of Turkmenistan and providing a new impetus for strengthening cooperation within the Turkic World.

On this important occasion, as the Organization of Turkic States, we wish the whole nation of Turkmenistan peace, unity, harmony and tranquility and we firmly believe that Turkmenistan will continue enhancing its traditional ties with the Turkic States and take a confident step into a bright future.
