The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev convened a meeting with the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Ömer Bolat on September 9, 2023, at the OTS Secretariat premises in Istanbul. 

During the meeting, the Secretary General and the Minister of Trade engaged in comprehensive discussions pertaining to the program and agenda for the upcoming 12th meeting of Ministers of economy and trade of the OTS. 

Both parties meticulously reviewed the agenda items and topics to be covered during the ministerial meeting to address current economic challenges and opportunities within the OTS region effectively.

The Secretary General and the Minister of Trade exchanged valuable insights on trade relations among member countries within the Organization to identify areas of improvement and collaboration. They also explored potential means and strategies to boost trade activities among member countries, ultimately contributing to the economic growth and prosperity of the region.
