Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov addressed the First High Level Meeting of International Organizations held on 5 May 2017 in Baku on the margins of 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Mehriban Aliyeva honored the meeting with her keynote speech. The meeting was also attended by heads of 46 international organizations and initiatives.
In his address to the participants, Ambassador Hasanov touched upon the ongoing fruitful cooperation of the Turkic Council with the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the UN World Tourism Organization and the UNDP.
He also mentioned about the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package Project that aims to further generate collaboration in the field of tourism and economy where the Turkic Speaking States are located.
Ambassador Hasanov gave the message that as long as “together we stand, we will always gain” when he was referring to the ways and means of how to overcome today’s global challenges.
Before the meeting, Ambassador Hasanov attended the lunch given by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H. E. Ilham Aliyev in honor of the heads of delegations participating in the forum.
Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki, Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul and Deputy Director of Finance and Administration Araz Salmanov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the meeting.
