Upon the invitation of the Turkish President, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov attended the official dinner given at the presidential complex on 5 August 2016 by President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in honor of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, who paid an official visit to Ankara.
The entire state protocol and ambassadors of the Turkic Council Member States took part in the dinner where Secretary General Hasanov held a number of bilateral meetings, especially with Speaker of Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey İsmail Kahraman, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yıldırım, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan İdrissov and Minister of Transport of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Arslan.
