Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who is in Madrid to attend "Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA)" meeting organized by International Center for Sports Security (ICSS) and the Ministry of Sport of Spain, had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Paulo Speller, Secretary General of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI).
Secretary General Hasanov gave information to his counterpart about the organizational structure and the activities of the Turkic Council. He expressed the willingness of the Turkic Council to develop relations among the two organizations and stated that for this purpose Turkic Council will take the necessary steps as soon as possible. Ambassador Hasanov also invited his counterpart to Istanbul.
OEI Secretary General Speller noted the potential of cooperation among the two organizations and stated that they would be happy to carry out joint activities with the Turkic Council in the fields of activity of both organizations.
