Upon the invitation of President of the International Center for Sport Security (ICSS) Muhammed Hanzab, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov is making an official visit to Doha on 22-23 December 2016.

Secretary General Hasanov met with the President of ICSS Muhammed Hanzab at the ICSS headquarters on 22 December 2016. The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation between the two organizations in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2015.

Secretary General expressed eloquently the satisfaction with the active participation of ICSS and its affiliated organization Save the Dream in the “Second World Nomad Games” organized in coordination with the Turkic Council in Kyrgyzstan in September 2016 and international conference on the “Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism” co-hosted by the Turkic Council and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Istanbul in October 2016. He also noted that the cooperation between the two organizations, which began in 2015, is moving rapidly with concrete steps.

Indicating the presence of President of Ethnosport Confederation Bilal Erdoğan, President of Beşiktaş J.K. Fikret Orman and Head of International Relations Office at Young Businessmen Confederation of Turkey Reha Yereşen during the said visit as concrete examples of the cooperation between the two organizations, Secretary General and his counterpart made evaluations regarding the prospective projects to be held in 2017.

They agreed that the ongoing projects between the Turkic Council and the ICSS should be expedited in 2017, while the relations between the Turkic Council and the State of Qatar should develop as well.

Project Director Ali Çiviler and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General Hasanov at the meeting.
