Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited Ambassador İbrahim Kalın, Spokesperson of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey on 25 October 2016 at his office at the Presidential Complex.
Secretary General Hasanov provided information to Ambassador Kalın regarding the current and planned activities of the Turkic Council as well as details of the results of the International Conference co-hosted by the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) themed “Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism: Holistic Approaches from Education to De-Radicalization”.
Ambassador Kalın expressed his gratitute for the visit of Secretary General Hasanov, stated that they follow closely the activities of the Turkic Council and expressed their satisfaction by the Council’s successful work. In this context, Ambassador Kalın also indicated that the ongoing support of the Republic of Turkey to the Turkic Council will continue.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul during the meeting.
