Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee of the Turkish Airlines (THY) İlker Aycı on 2 March 2017 in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the fam trips of Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package planned to take place in the upcoming period and the long term work of the said tour package.
Chairman Aycı stated that THY could contribute to the activities of the Turkic Council in the mentioned areas. He also expressed that it would be useful to organize the working group meetings between the two institutions in this direction and wished success to the Council for its work in the tourism area.
Following the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented to Chairman Aycı a plaquet, the flag of the Turkic Council and the special map of the Turkic Council member states.
Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee İlker Aycı offered Secretary General Hasanov a painting of paper marbling symbolizing the Turkish culture.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Director Pelin Musabay and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General at the meeting. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Ahmet Olmuştur was present at the meeting on behalf of THY.
