Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with H.E. Yıldırım Tuğrul Türkeş, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.

Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with H.E. Yıldırım Tuğrul Türkeş, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.
Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited H.E. Yıldırım Tuğrul Türkeş, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey on 26 January 2017 at the Prime Ministry.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov provided in-depth information to the Deputy Prime Minister Türkeş about the activities of the Turkic Council including the Central Transport Corridor, tourism projects, Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package, projects in the field of education and Common History Textbook, Joint TV Channel of the Turkic World, Turkic Council Turkic University Union and the Student Council, as well as World Nomads Games.
Secretary General Hasanov also invited the Deputy Prime Minister Türkeş to deliver the opening speech of the International Conference on “Khojaly Genocide, Crimes Against Humanity and Terrorism” to be co-organized on 22 February 2017 in Ankara with Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Turkish-Kazakh University.
Deputy Prime Minister Türkeş expressed his gratitude for the visit and thanked for the detailed information provided by the Secretary General Hasanov. He stated that he was following closely the successful work done by the Turkic Council which he sees extremely important for elevating the cooperation and coordination among the Turkic States to the highest level. Deputy Prime Minister Turkes added that he would be pleased to deliver the opening speech of the conference on 22 February 2017.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented to the Deputy Prime Minister Türkeş, the flag of the Turkic Council in memory of this visit.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
