Within the framework of his official contacts in Bishkek, Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov had a bilateral meeting with met with Mr. Altinbek Maksutov, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Information of Kyrgyz Republic and the delegation accompanying him on 4 February 2016.
During the meeting where the Deputy Ministers Aynura Temirbekova and Bakytbek Sekimov were also present, parties exchanged views on the ongoing activities of the Turkic Council in the field of tourism cooperation.
Secretary General Hasanov underlined the rich historical and cultural values of the countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey) located on the historical Silk Road and expressed the importance of ongoing cooperation with the Member States for both culture and tourism.
Minister Maksutov expressed his satisfaction for the organization of the Turkic Council 3rd Meeting of Ministers of Tourism in Kyrgyzstan in 2016 and wished continuation of successful work of the Turkic Council.
Secretary General Hasanov presented a gift to Minister Maksutov at the end of the meeting.
Turkic Council Project Director Zhyldyz Uzakova and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul were present during the meeting.
