Continuing his official contacts in Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with Mr. Elhan Usubov, Provincial Governor of Sheki of the Republic of Azerbaijan which is the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2016 on 16 March 2016.
Secretary General Hasanov and Governor Usubov exchanged views on the activities and events to be realised in Sheki in the framework of Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2016 that will serve to the Turkic world.
Furthermore, Secretary General Hasanov pointed out that Sheki with its cultural and historical heritage is included in the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Tour Package and invited Governor Usubov to the promotion activities to be organized in collaboration with the Turkic Council and "Casa Asia" in Barcelona early this April.
Governor Usubov expressed their gladness to host all kinds of events during 2016 in Sheki and conveyed his thanks to the Secretary General for his visit and invitation.
Secretary General Hasanov presented a plaque to Governor Usubov at the end of the meeting.
