In the framework his official contacts in Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited Mr. Ramin Quluzade, Minister of Communications and High Technology of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 18 March 2016.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov and Minister Quluzade exchanged views regarding possible steps to be taken in the context of the decision of the Heads of States, envisaging to open a new area of cooperation in the field of Information and Technology among the Member States, which was stated in the Summit Declaration of the Turkic Council 5th Summit Meeting of Heads of States held in Astana on 11 September 2015. Secretary General proposed to hold the first meeting of the working group in Baku.
Minister Quluzade expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Secretary General and stated that they will continue to give every support to the successful activities of the Turkic Council.
Secretary General Hasanov presented a present to the Minister Quluzade at the end of the meeting.
Mr. Alesker Agayev from TÜRKPA accompanied to the Secretary General during the meeting.
