Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov had a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu within the framework of 22nd Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held on 28 February 2017 in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov gave information to Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu about the preparations for the Sixth Summit of Heads of State of the Turkic Council, what has been achieved up to this point concerning the fam trips of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package, Turkic Council Second Diaspora Forum planned to be held in Turkey and other activities of the organization in the general framework.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu thanked General Secretary Hasanov for the information he conveyed and expressed his appreciation with the meeting in the framework of the ECO Council of Ministers Meeting. He also stated that the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to support all endeavors of the Turkic Council as it has always done.
