Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov accompanied by the Project Director Farid Damirli paid a courtesy visit on 23 November 2015 to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Indonesia Zekeriya Akcam.
During the meeting Secretary General briefed Ambassador about activities and projects that are being implemented by the Turkic Council as well as provided information about establishment of relations between the Turkic Council and ASEAN. Since it was a first visit of the Secretary General to Indonesia, issues of possible cooperation between the two organizations have been discussed with Ambassador Akcam.
Furthermore, Secretary General Hasanov informed the Ambassador about readiness of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in assisting Turkic Council in promoting Modern Silk Road Tour package in Indonesia by making an official presentation. Ambassador of Turkey also supported this initiative and promised to extend his support in realizing this initiative in Indonesia.
The meeting was concluded by presenting to the Ambassador of Turkey information materials and presents.
