Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov participated in the 13th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on 14 April 2016 in Istanbul.
Summit meeting was held with the participation of the Heads of States, Prime Ministers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of OIC member states. Secretary General Hasanov had bilateral meetings with the Secretaries Generals of ECO, SESRIC and PUIC as well as his counterparts from other institutions.
It is stated in the Declaration of the 13th Session of the Islamic Summit of OIC that the establishment of official cooperation between OIC and the Turkic Council as the result of concrete bilateral relations was welcomed by the Heads of States of OIC.
