Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov and Turkic Council delegation including Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul participated in the coordination meeting held on February 21, 2017 headed by Ambassador Ümit Yardım, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. Prior to the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov visited Deputy Undersecretary Ambassador Yardım in his office.
Officials from the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Youth and Sports, TİKA and Prime Ministry Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities participated in the meeting.
The projects carried out so far by the Turkic Council and the activities to be carried out in the forthcoming period in the fields of education, youth, sports, customs, economy, transportation, information technology, trade and tourism as well as the coordination and possible further contributions of the related ministries to these activities have been discussed at length during the meeting.
Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov informed the participants about the activities of the related institutions of the Turkic Council and the current events to increase the visibility of the Council at the international arena. At the end of the meeting Secretary General Hasanov conveyed his gratitude to Deputy Undersecretary Ambassador Ümit Yardım for hosting such a comprehensive coordination meeting.
Following the meeting, a family photo was taken and Secretary General Hasanov presented the Special Map of the Turkic Council to Ambassador Yardım.
