Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov accompanied by the Project Director Yedil Myrzakhanov participated in the International Conference dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the establishment of the Kazakh Khanate and 170th anniversary of Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev held on 22 December 2015 in Baku, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Baku State University.
Rector of Kazakh National University Galimkair Mutanov, the Secretary General of TURKPA Jandos Asanov, President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afendiyeva and as a honorable guest Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to UNESCO Ambassador Olzhas Suleymenov participated to the conference. The event was hosted by the Rector of Baku State University Abel Maharramov.
During the conference Ambassador Hasanov addressed the conference and in his speech he congratulated the brotherly Kazakh people with the above mentioned anniversaries and informed the participants about the Turkic Council`s recent activities and projects.
