Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited headquarters of WCO in Brussels for bilateral talks to discuss custom sissues.
Following the consultations with World Customs Organization (WCO) a cooperation between the Turkic Council and WCO has been launched. 

With this in mind, Secretary General of WCO Kunio Mikuriya extended his invitation to the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov to visit headquarters of WCO in Brussels on 17 February 2015, for bilateral talks to discuss customs issues.

Accompanied by the Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Farid Damirli, Ambassador Hasanov informed Mr. Mikuriya about activities of the Turkic Council which are being implemented in the framework of Working Group on Customs, actions which can be taken to improve aspects of border crossing points in the Member States.

Taking into consideration the importance of this issue in improving the trade potential of the Member States Ambassador Hasanov emphasized the significance of WCO as an global international organization that can assist Customs Administrations of the Member States of the Turkic Council to use all available instruments.
