Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who is continuing his official contacts in Ankara, visited Mr. Faig Bagirov Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ankara on 25 February 2016.
Secretary General Hasanov and Ambassador Bagirov exchanged views on the several issues for furthering the current activities and projects of the Turkic Council. Additionally, Ambassador Bagirov stated that the Turkic world welcomes the level of activities reached by the Turkic Council today and indicated that the support of the Embassy will increasingly continue.
Secretary General Hasanov presented his condolences to Ambassador Bagirov on the occasion of the 26th February Khojaly massacre.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented a gift to Ambassador Bagirov.
Turkic Council Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General during the meeting.
