Within the framework of his official contacts in Baku, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited Mr. Nazım Ibrahimov, Minister of State in Charge of Diaspora Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 26 May 2016.
At the meeting, where Deputy Minister Mr. Ramin Mammadov was also present, Secretary General Hasanov and Minister Ibrahimov exchanged views on the possible contribution of the Turkic Council to the organization of "World Azerbaijanis Congress" due to be held on 4 June 2016 in Azerbaijan.
Parties also exchanged views on the organization of joint ‘Turkic Diaspora Forum’ within the context of ongoing diaspora cooperation carried out by the Turkic Council. Minister Ibrahimov also expressed their expectations for further progress in this regard during the period of newly established 65th Government of the Republic of Turkey.
Secretary General Hasanov continues his official contacts in Baku.
